Purpose for the Job
To provide strategic leadership, innovation, and operational oversight for Minet’s corporate wellness programs. The Wellness Manager will spearhead the development of holistic, data-driven wellness solutions that enhance client health outcomes, drive business growth, and position wellness as a premium differentiator within the Minet portfolio.
Duties and Responsiblities
I. Strategic Leadership and Wellness Program Innovation:
• Develop and execute a multi-year wellness strategy aligned to client segmentation, claims trends, and global wellness trends.
• Lead the design and periodic refinement of wellness service packages tailored to specific industries and risk profiles (e.g., call centers, logistics, banking, education, etc.)
• Collaborate with the GM and actuarial team to integrate wellness metrics with insurance renewal strategies.
• Monitor global trends in occupational health, digital therapeutics, mental wellness, and workplace engagement to inform service evolution.
• Foster innovation by piloting and scaling new wellness offerings (e.g., AI-based health nudging, wearable tech integration, resilience labs, green wellness, workplace social prescribing).
II. Oversight of Wellness Team and Program Execution:
• Lead and mentor a team of Wellness Officers and coordinators across client accounts, ensuring high standards of delivery, professionalism, and responsiveness.
• Oversee the development and execution of wellness calendars for key clients, ensuring alignment with health risk data and employee engagement needs.
• Approve and monitor implementation of CDM, EAP, WPP, and occupational health solutions.
• Ensure effective onboarding, supervision, and performance appraisal of all wellness personnel using competency-based scorecards and KPIs.
III. Client Engagement, Partnerships and Thought Leadership
• Serve as the strategic wellness liaison with top-tier clients, insurance underwriters, health providers, and internal teams.
• Support client renewal meetings by demonstrating ROI and value-on-investment (VOI) of wellness programs.
• Represent Minet in external forums, wellness summits, and industry networks to build brand credibility.
• Lead quarterly wellness roundtables or webinars for client HR leads and wellness champions.
IV. Data Analytics, Reporting and ROI Tracking
• Partner with the claims and business intelligence teams to translate health data into actionable insights.
• Track and communicate ROI, absenteeism trends, productivity impacts, and reduction in preventable claims.
• Drive digitization and dashboarding of wellness analytics using platforms such as Power BI, Salesforce Health Cloud, or similar tools.

Knowledge And Skills Required
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement multi-layered wellness strategies aligned with organizational goals and client health profiles.
• Data Analysis and Health Intelligence: Proficiency in interpreting claims data, HRAs, absenteeism trends, and other health metrics to design targeted interventions and demonstrate ROI.
• Digital Wellness Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with digital health ecosystems including mobile health apps, wearable integrations, wellness portals, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Health Cloud).
• Occupational Health & Behavioral Science: Deep understanding of health promotion, ergonomics, employee behavior change models, and mental health frameworks like EAP, WPP, CDM, and buout prevention.
• Leadership and People Management: Strong track record in supervising teams, coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, and creating a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Client Relationship Management: Ability to build strategic partnerships, engage senior leadership across sectors, and influence wellness adoption within client organizations.
• Communication and Presentation Skills: Expertise in preparing wellness proposals, writing impactful reports, and delivering persuasive presentations to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding of wellness budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, pricing of wellness services, and negotiating with vendors for value-based solutions.
• Change Management: Skilled in driving cultural change in organizations, aligning wellness with business KPIs, and building consensus among cross-functional stakeholders.
Professional and Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Medicine or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Wellness Management, Occupational Health, Health Economics, or MBA (an added advantage).
• Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in corporate health / wellness management, at least 3 in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Training in coaching, behavior change communication, or digital health strategy preferred.
