The Embassy of Peru in Kenya is seeking to recruit an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT under a fixed-term contract
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources,
accounting, economy, Public Administration, International relations, public relations or related fields. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, identify priorities, and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Fluency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Swahili is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in international organizations and/or diplomatic missions is desirable.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kenya at the time of application.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Administrator in planning and executing the Embassy’s budget.
- Maintain records of monthly expenses, inventory, services, and other administrative activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders for coordination and follow-up.
- Provide support in the organization of official events and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the Embassy.
