Position Overview

The Data Administrator supports the MERL team by ensuring accurate data collection, management, analysis, and reporting for SPH’s programmes.

Scope of Role

Manage day-to-day data systems and processes within the MERL framework, supporting programmes like Case Management, Data Science, Health, Manufacturing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality & Tourism, and Youth Hub Network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data management systems for accuracy and consistency.
  • Support data analysis for programme performance reviews.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits and validation checks.
  • Assist in capacity building for staff, interns, and volunteers in data management.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to align data with objectives.
  • Document data management processes and lessons learned.
  • Manage relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Understand data governance, privacy, and security frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data management, preferably in NGO/development sector.
  • Strong knowledge of data collection, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, or STATA.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
