Finance Officer
Responsibility Summary:
- Prepare and submit required CBK reports in compliance with regulatory timelines and standards.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain financial models related to government securities, IFRS 16 lease accounting and staff loan valuation.
- Prepare and submit stakeholder reports to the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC), Development Financial Institutions (DFI), and other external stakeholders.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional qualifications; ACCA, CPA
- 5 years’ experience with good knowledge on bank policies and CBK prudential guidelines.
- Thorough understanding of SAP GL, accounting policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of bank’s products and services, and IFRS.
